The association
“ staseranonesco” literally “ tonight i’m not going
out “ aims at promotiong meetings of cultural exchanges between persons
, who by taking part in this project, show their will to accept the
principles on which the association is based upon and the regulations
pertaining to the actual carrying out of the meetings.
Among the activities which the members promote and contribute into carrying
them out, is being together around a table discovering traditions and tasting
new dishes, but most of all it is getting to know each other; it is the heart
of a project, with the contribution of whomever will want to support it, that
hopefully will be known to as many persons as possible.
The members will therefore be either simple guests or will actually prepare a
meal at home and have the members as their guests.
whatever role one will play, this experience asks the people who take part in
it, to follow a few regulations which we have formalized in order to avoid
any sort of misunderstanding as well as risks for anyone.
That is why we ask all participants or future members to read carefully the
following articles, reminding everyone that its acceptance , which
constitutes a fundamental guarantee not only for the association but also for
all the persons that sustain it externally, is mandatory in order for the
directive committee to be able to evaluate the candidates keeping in mind
that the violation of these constitutes the xpulsion as of art . 5 of these
rules from staseranonesco.
ART. 1 THE
MEETINGS
take place in private homes , among individuals who have expressed their
consent and who voluntarily accept , respectively to host or be hosted free
of charge. in neither case this type of exchange should not be considered as
buying/selling between the parts.
“staseranonesco” declines any responsibility of
any kind of behavior generating any type of payment in exchange of services
or goods between the parts.
The right to participate in the event is conferred from the association
directly to the parts as a consequence of accepting the regulation .
The forms ( which can be filled out by writing or via computer ) are also
part of the regulation which disciplines the relationship between the parts
within “staseranonesco”.
ART. 2 CANDIDATING
the participation in the project “ staseranonesco” depends on the
acceptance of the canditations by the directive committee with the following
means :
- a. printed forms found in
affiliated places or committees and sent to the florence office.
b. filling out
the form found on the web site : www.staseranonesco.net.
ART. 3 THE EVENT / MEMBER HOSTS
the persons who accept to be part of the
association by hosting people in their homes must meet certain requirements
in order to be evaluated by the committee who will decide eligibility.
a. being a member of staseranonesco.
b. the culinary activity must be done by a non professional.
c. positive evaluation by the directive committee or by persons acting in its
power, comprehension of the association’s principles, availaibility of
a proper structure suitable for carrying out the event.
d. being able to host the members indicated by the association in the limit
of
number of persons and time previously established. availaibility
doesn’t substitue in any case the obligation to host.
GENERAL RULES WHICH MUST BE RESPECTED
ARE THE FOLLOWING :
a. being able to obtain the products
within the expense budget decided by staseranonesco based on the available
resources of the association.
b. it is forbidden to accept payment , even at different time then that of
the event , for the actual carrying out of the meeting .
c. not using, as much as possible, already made foods for preparing the meal.
d. respecting the hygienic rules in the preparation and preservation of the
foods.
e. respecting the behavioral rules which have been indicated below.
f. being responsible for all the consequences directly retraceable in omitting
to respect all of the above mentioned rules or in the negligence of
behavioral conduct.
g. explicit exclusuion from the responsibility of staseranonesco, being a
promoter of the event.
if the above rules are respected, no other requirement is needed to be a
member host. the judjement , remains however, exclusive will of the directive
committee of staseranonesco.
ART. 4 THE MEETING - MEMBER GUESTS
Tthe members who decide to be part of the association and are willing to be
guests must have the following characteristics :
a. being a member of staseranonesco
b. agreeing to be hosted by the members indicated by staseranonesco, in
respect to the given indications such as time, place and other.
THE GENERAL RULES THAT EACH MEMBER
MUST FOLLOW ARE THE FOLLOWING:
c. it is forbidden to make payments of any kind in exchange of the
hospitality given during staseranonesco.
d. obligation to report any kind of allergy or intollerance caused by any
food or preparation.
e. obligation to report any sort of preparation or food which may disturb
one’s ethical or religious traditions or in any case any ingredient
that may be dangerous to one ‘s health.
f. points d and e cannot be used to report any sort of personal preference
due to taste or to a special request.
g. respecting behavioral rules which have been indicated.
h. taking the responsibilities relative to the consequences directly
retraceable to the failure of respecting the above rules or to evident
negligence of behavioral conduct.
i. explicit exclusion of the responsibility by
staseranonesco being promoter of the event.
If the above rules are respected no other limit exists for being a member
guest .
The judjemnt remains, however, in the will power of the directive committee
of staseranonesco.
ART. 5 THE ENCOUNTER - GENERAL RULES
a. the directive committee, having evaluated the characteristics of the
candidates, informs the persons who have requested to participate as guests
or as hosts on the place and date of the event.this occurs respecting the
time limits already indicated on the forms and in any case at least one week
before the actual date of the dinner.
b. the event will be programmed as much as possible according to the various
demands within the project of staseranonesco.
c. the candidates must confirm within 24 hours after the above has been
reported.
d. after agreement , any cancellation not reported in ample time may be
consequence of expulsion from the association.
ART. 6 THE ENCOUNTER - BEHAVIORAL
RULES
after knowing what the characteristics and goals of
staseranonesco are, it is essential that the parties who decide to take part
in these events , take good
notice and accept the behavioral rules here listed and of which their respect
is fundamental for the positive result as well as for its proper diffusion.
in addition to the general rules of respect which
must exist among the persons who have decided to share an experience of high
cultural profile involving individuals in a very personal and important field,
we have listed below specific indications in order to avoid as much as
possible any type of incovenience that may disturb the positive result of the
event.
2.2. FOR THE MEMBER GUEST
the member guest will always respect the
persons , the places and everything which will be offered to him or her
during the event, no matter if it is or it isn’t to his or her liking.
a. the guest will have to respect dates and times of the programs for the
event.
should there be impossibility of the above , the member will have to report
it immediately to staseranonesco. if possible the association will try to
find an alternative solution ( keeping in mind what has been said in art. 5
point d ) but it is not obliged to repeat the same event.
b. during the event, the member guest, will try to
maintain a respectful and polite behavior towards the persons he or she will
encounter no matter what role and behavior the other person will have. any
violation will result in the expulsion from staseranonesco.
c. even in the consideration of the different
cultural backgrounds which may arise during the event, the member guest is
asked to observe all the indications that have been given by the member host
regarding the way one behaves before, during and after the meal as well as to
how the table has been set.
d. the member guest must follow the instructions given by the member host as
to how the meal should be consumed . in the event that this should not be
possible even partially, the member guest is asked to still have a correct behavior
keeping in mind the general rule specified in point d of this article.
e. the member guest has the faculty to ask about the
procedures used in the preparation of the meal, and if previously planned, he
or she may assist in the preparation of the meal. this does not mean that the
host must fullfill the requests of that specific preparation.
f. in the case where the guest will assist in the
preparation , he or she must follow indications pertaining the place from
which to observe the preparation and other behavioral details. in any case he
or she must not disturb during the course of the preparation.
g. the member guest is invited to inform
staseranonesco, possibly by wrting, should the member host not respect the
rules of this regulation and if this behavior has in any way badly influenced
the positive outcome of the event. This should be applied also to those
behaviors, that even if not mentioned in these rules, have been according to
him or her , not proper or not complying with the regulation defined above.
h. it is forbidden by the member guest to release
any type or recording relative to the event of staseranonesco.
2.3. FOR THE MEMBER HOST
a. the member host will have to always respect all the persons who accept to
be his or her guests during the event of staseranonesco.
b. the member host will behave accordingly in respect of the persons who will
be present during the event no matter what their role or behavior will be in
that
moment . the violation will cause expulsion of the member from the association.
c. in order to obtain the best results from the experience the host must
prepare and present the foods very carefully. in this it is intended that the
utensils be adequate for the preparation of the meal and availaibility of
necessary material for its achievement. staseranonesco is available in
providing the necessary material or utensils if the member host does not
possess them.
d. the member host must respect dates and times scheduled for the event.
should this not be possible due to an unforseen event, he or she must inform
the committee as soon as possible indicating alternative availaibility.
within its own possibilities and keeping in mind what has been said in point
2.1.
d , the association will try to find a solution for the achievement of the
event.
e. the member host is invited to give to the guests as much information as
possible relative to the preparation of the meal , on what has been done
before the event, during and after. this , however, is not mandatory.
f. considering the different cultures that may be
encountered during the course of the event , the member host is asked to
respect the different ways in which the member guest may consume the meal as
long as they remain within his or her own habits and do not exceed from the
general behavioral conduct described above.
g. the member host is invited to inform
staseranonesco, possibly in writing , of any case in which the memeber guest
has not followed the above rules of conduct and his or her improper behavior
has influenced the achievement of the event. any other incorrect behavior,
even if not mentioned throughout this regulation , should also be notified to
staseranonesco.
h. it is forbidden to the member host to give out
any type of recording , relative to the event of staseranonesco.
in the case where the member host agrees to give out information or images
about the preparations carried out during the course of the event ,
staseranonesco has the faculty to use them for publications ( paper or web ),
but is not obliged to give anyting to the member host unless previously
specified.
